The Murder Case That Made VH1 Erase Two Entire Shows

VH1 aired just three episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire before pulling the show. I Love Money 3 never aired at all. Both featured Ryan Jenkins. In August 2009, Jenkins was charged with the murder of his wife, 28-year-old Jasmine Fiore. The case led VH1 to cancel both shows, remove episodes from sale and distance itself from a contestant it had introduced as a millionaire bachelor. This documentary follows how Jenkins was cast, why Megan Hauserman wanted him to win, and how a background check missed his Canadian assault record. We examine the surviving footage, the episodes viewers never got to see, and the fallout for the cast and producers as Jasmine’s murder forced reality television to confront its screening failures. #MeganWantsAMillionaire #ILoveMoney #TrueCrime Music Provided by Epidemic Sound https://share.epidemicsound.com/zk0wpy Chapters: 0:00 Megan Wants a Millionaire Reality Show Begins 3:59 Unaired Episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire 7:30 Megan Hauserman's Final Pick and Ryan Jenkins' Marriage 10:58 Ryan Jenkins and Jasmine Fiore's Troubled Marriage 14:00 Jasmine Fiore Murder Investigation Begins 17:00 VH1 Cancels Megan Wants a Millionaire 18:58 Ryan Jenkins Found Dead 21:59 VH1 Erases Shows Aftermath and Financial Cost 25:29 Ryan Jenkins' Criminal Record and Casting Failure 28:58 Background Check Lawsuit After Ryan Jenkins Case 31:00 I Love Money 4 Airs, Unaired Episodes Surface
