Description
Jonathan Banks shared a hilarious story about how he frequently argued with the Breaking Bad writers over proper grammar to protect his character, Mike Ehrmantraut. Wanting to make sure Mike sounded sharp and articulate, Jonathan constantly checked the script for mistakes. When one scene called for the line "Who killed who?", he immediately stepped in to correct it to "Who killed whom?", insisting that "whom" was the proper object of the preposition. He even confronted episode writer Tom Schnauz, pleading with him not to dumb Mike down and to fix the line. However, the writer stubbornly refused to change it, leaving Jonathan defeated as the bad grammar stayed in the show. Seeing Jonathan Banks passionately battle the writers to defend a hitman's proper grammar is pure gold. #jonathanbanks #breakingbad #mikeehrmantraut #grammar #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories
