Vodyanitsa: Tonight, We Build a Dam as One | Genshin Impact (Soviet Ver.)

A Soviet-style reimagining of Vodyanitsa's "Tonight, We Sink as One" from Genshin Impact, transforming its mysterious, ethereal atmosphere into a cheerful and slightly absurd Soviet dam-building anthem! From: Genshin Impact Source song: Vodyanitsa: Tonight, We Sink as One by HOYO-MiX ⚙ Sovia's Note Comrades, A mysterious water spirit tries to lure everyone underwater, but the Soviet engineers have other plans: building a dam overnight! Tonight, we don't sink as one. We build as one! 🌙 Runa's Note For this Soviet Ver., I wanted to preserve Vodyanitsa's beautiful, ethereal vocals while giving the song a cheerful Soviet twist. The opening stays mysterious, but the first verse introduces our Soviet engineers. The chorus transforms into a joyful construction anthem, with lively orchestration and choir harmonies. In the second verse, even the water spirit gets recruited! The finale brings everything together before returning to the original's dreamy atmosphere. The biggest challenge was keeping that delicate, floating vocal quality without making the arrangement too operatic. I hope the contrast makes you smile! 📜 Lyrics: https://sovia.work/sound/?q=GLy300PElvY 🎧 Source recording: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ty-Btue6OI 🚩 More from the archive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOZSMa-6HwE&list=PLlqU20zJZWDYR0pIpbnac3FQWEX8H0Ae8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CK38RHLvZEc&list=PLlqU20zJZWDYR0pIpbnac3FQWEX8H0Ae8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7DQDiT1_nI&list=PLlqU20zJZWDYR0pIpbnac3FQWEX8H0Ae8
