All 11 Animagi in Harry Potter EXPLAINED in Detail

Becoming an Animagus is one of the most difficult forms of magic in the Wizarding World, yet witches and wizards have been transforming into animals for thousands of years. Some used the ability to help their friends or escape prison. Others used it to spy on people, disappear from society, or—in one particularly unfortunate case—become a gerbil. In this video, we break down all 11 confirmed Animagi in Harry Potter and the wider Wizarding World, from ancient figures like Falco Aesalon, Cliodna, Morgan le Fay, and the Morrigan to Minerva McGonagall, James Potter, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Rita Skeeter. We’ll explain each Animagus form, how the transformation works, who actually registered with the Ministry, and the hidden details behind some of the most famous transformations in wizarding history.
