Description
On June 22, 1953, a fourteen-year-old paperboy in Brooklyn was handed a nickel that felt too light. He dropped it, it popped open, and inside was a square of Soviet microfilm — and it took the FBI four years to read it. Not because the coin was clever. Because nobody searches a coin. That is the whole idea behind hiding something well: the best spot is not the strongest lock, it is the one that costs a hurried stranger a minute he does not have. After a career spent noticing what people leave in plain sight, I started with 25 hiding spots, threw out 18, and kept the 7 I would actually trust.
You will learn why the "safe" spots everyone repeats (the freezer, the sock drawer, the mattress) are the first ones checked, the $200 line hiding in your own insurance policy, what 422 burglars said about how a break-in really happens, and the one spot that keeps working even after a stranger is told exactly where it is.
None of it costs more than an envelope, and you can set most of it up tonight.
Tell me in the comments which of the seven surprised you most. The one with the most comments gets its own full video next.
Everything here is public, legal, and about protecting what is yours.
