This Riddick Game Is Better Than the Movies

Most movie tie in games are terrible. But somehow, the best Riddick story…isn’t a movie. When Pitch Black hit theaters, it quietly turned Vin Diesel into a sci-fi antihero icon. The follow up, The Chronicles of Riddick, aimed for epic franchise status, complete with animated spinoffs, novels, and a massive multimedia push. It didn’t work. But buried inside that failed franchise experiment was something nobody expected: The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. A gritty, brutal prison escape game that many fans now consider the best Riddick story ever made. #riddick #escapefrombutcherbay #vindiesel #pitchblack #nerdstalgic
