Description

When the power goes out in winter and one room still isn't warm enough, you don't heat the room. You heat the little space around a person. Elias shows how to build a blanket tent over your bed from whatever's in the house (bedposts, kitchen chairs, a card table, a headboard, or a camping tent) and hang the walls so your own body heat stays with you all night. You'll learn the frame, the walls, the two mistakes that turn a tent wet and cold (sealing it tight, and building it against an outside wall), what the thermometer really reads inside, and why the warm stone from the last video works twice as hard in there. ⚠️ SAFETY: Never put a candle, flame, or heater inside a blanket tent. Nothing burns indoors that isn't built and vented for it. Keep a battery carbon monoxide alarm in the room. Babies sleep on their own firm, flat surface with no loose blankets, never inside the tent. ▶ Watch first: Keep Your Family Warm All Night for $0 When the Power Goes Out https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLix9qkxZPkARy44xWCBMSpgzu3ZA6pjgB #poweroutage #stayingwarm #homesteading #winterprep #offgrid
