Off-Grid DIY: Clay & Stone Fireplace for My Handbuilt Wilderness Shelter

In a log cabin I built entirely with my own two hands using natural materials, it was finally time to tackle the ultimate comfort project: building a cozy fireplace. To survive the cold wilderness nights and bring warmth to my forest home, I needed a real fire inside. In this episode, I share the entire step-by-step process of crafting a river stone fireplace from scratch. Watch as I cut an opening in the roof, install an old metal chimney pipe, mix natural forest clay, and carefully layer gathered river stones to form the hearth. By the end of the day, as the clay sets, I light the very first fire, cook a hearty meal over the open flames, and sit back to watch the firelight dance across the log walls. Just me, completely off-grid, enjoying a warm night inside a shelter I built myself. #solofemalebushcraft #handbuiltcabin #stonefireplace #offgridliving #diychimney #solocamping #cabinlife #logcabinbuild #primitivetechnology #wildernessliving #cozycabin #bushcraftgirl #woodlandcraft #catchandcook #homesteading #shelterbuild #outdoorwomen #selfbuiltshelter #firelight #offgridsurvival My INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/karinawildoutdoors/
