One Man, One Year — Restoring a Rare Military 4x4 Jeep Rusted Beyond Repair

This 40-year-old Jeep had been abandoned for years, and time had taken a serious toll. The body was heavily rusted, the paint crumbled at the slightest touch, and moss had even grown on the seats. Under the hood, almost everything was missing except the engine and radiator. Even the gear oil had turned into a mixture of sludge and water, while the front axle was in terrible condition. By all accounts, this Jeep was beyond saving. But that's exactly what made this restoration worth taking on. We brought this forgotten Jeep back to our workshop and began a complete restoration from the ground up. The vehicle was stripped down, the chassis was cleaned and sanded, rust was removed, epoxy primer was applied, and the chassis frame was refinished. This is only the beginning.
