Description
God is not silent. He is hiding. Here are three places even faithful Catholics walk past every day.
Have you prayed for a long time and felt nothing back? Have you wondered if God stepped away from your family, your marriage, or your struggle? The prophet Isaiah calls God a God who hides Himself (Isaiah 45:15). Hiding is not the same as leaving.
In this video, we look at three hidden places where Christ is present, using Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the teaching of Saint Augustine, Saint Teresa of Avila, Saint John of the Cross, and Saint Teresa of Calcutta. You will hear why Jesus says the least of our brothers and sisters are Him, why silence can open the door to prayer, and what the dark night of the soul says about unanswered prayer.
You will also get three small practices to begin this week. Whether you are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, or just searching, you are welcome here.
Scripture: “As you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:40) and “I will never fail you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
Tell me in the comments: which of these three hiding places do you need most today? Your answer may help someone who feels alone. If this helped you, like the video, subscribe, and watch next: how to tell if the voice you hear in prayer is truly from God.
This channel shares the Catholic faith with clarity, reverence, and hope.
