Description
What is thrust density, and why is it a game-changer for getting us to the Moon? 🚀
In this video, we break down rocket thrust density (thrust to effective cross-sectional area) and packing density. Using data comparing SpaceX's Raptor 3, Solid Rocket Boosters (SRBs), Kerolox, and The Legendary RS25 engine, we look at how engine size and fuel density directly impact how much payload a rocket can actually lift into space.
Is efficiency (ISP) everything, or does how many engines you can jam onto the bottom of a booster matter more? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
