Description

Mick Jagger performs the Rolling Stones' classic "Start Me Up" during his historic 1988 solo tour, taking the stage alongside an all-star solo band featuring guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani. Stepping up to center stage on a white Fender Stratocaster, Satriani trades soaring solos and rhythm fills with musical director Jimmy Rip, adding his signature shredding technique and fluid pitch bends to Keith Richards' iconic open-G riff structure while bassist Doug Wimbish locks down the groove. Recorded live on March 22, 1988, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, this concert was part of Jagger's solo tour supporting his 1987 album Primitive Cool. Serving as his first-ever concert tour in Japan, Jagger assembled a powerhouse live band that featured Joe Satriani and Jimmy Rip on guitars, Doug Wimbish on bass, session legend Simon Phillips on drums, and backing vocalist Bernard Fowler, delivering stadium-scale performances to massive audiences. #MickJagger #JoeSatriani #StartMeUp #RollingStones #TokyoDome #80sRock #GuitarSolo #Live1988
