Description

He loved his best friend Geraldine for most of his life, even after she chose another man and they both got married. Decades later, when Geraldine became seriously ill, her husband started reaching out to him for help. He knew her medications, allergies, children’s schedules, and almost everything about their household—but eventually decided it wasn’t his responsibility. Then Geraldine died. For 20 years, he blamed her husband for what happened… until one graduation dinner revealed a piece of the story he never knew. Now, at 72 years old, he’s questioning the decision he made decades ago.
