It was serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump from July 2014 to August 2024, with its chapters collected in 42 tankōbon volumes. Set in a world where superpowers (called "Quirks") have become commonplace, the story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy who was born without a Quirk but still dreams of becoming a superhero himself. He is scouted by the world's greatest hero, All Might, who bestows his Quirk to Midoriya after recognizing his potential, and helps to enroll him in a prestigious high school for superheroes in training. The manga spawned a media franchise, leading to numerous spin-off manga, such as My Hero Academia: Smash!!, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, and My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions. The series has also been expanded into light novels, stage plays, and various types of merchandise and media, including numerous video games. It has been adapted into an anime television series produced by Bones, which aired for eight seasons from April 2016 to December 2025. It has also spawned four animated films, subtitled Two Heroes, Heroes Rising, World Heroes' Mission, and You're Next, as well as ten original video animations (OVAs) and an upcoming television special that adapts a bonus chapter from the final volume of the manga. A live-action film by Legendary Entertainment is in development. My Hero Academia became a commercial success and has appeared on The New York Times best-seller list several times. By April 2024, the manga had over 100 million copies in circulation, including sales of spin-offs, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. The series received praise for its art, characters, storytelling, action scenes, and its pop culture references to Western superhero comics. It has won several awards, including the Sugoi Japan Award and Harvey Award for Best Manga, and is considered one of the best of the 2010s. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a 2018 American animated superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman from a screenplay by Phil Lord and Rothman, it is the first animated film in the Spider-Man franchise. Shameik Moore stars as the voice of Miles Morales, with Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Brian Tyree Henry, Lily Tomlin, Luna Lauren Vélez, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Nicolas Cage and Liev Schreiber in supporting voice roles. The film's story follows Miles as he becomes the new Spider-Man and teams up with other Spider-People from various parallel universes to save his universe from the Kingpin. It was produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel Entertainment. Plans for an animated Spider-Man film by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were leaked in 2014 and announced in April 2015. Persichetti, Ramsey and Rothman joined over the next two years, with Moore and Schreiber cast in April 2017. Lord and Miller wanted the film to have a unique style, combining computer animation with hand-drawn comic techniques inspired by the work of Miles Morales co-creator Sara Pichelli. The film required the largest crew of animators used by Sony Pictures Animation on a feature film. The film premiered at the Regency Village Theater in Los Angeles on December 1, 2018, and was theatrically released in the United States on December 14. The film grossed $394 million worldwide against a $90 million budget and received widespread acclaim. The film won Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards, and numerous other accolades. A sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, was released on June 2, 2023, to similar critical acclaim and greater commercial success, while a third film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, is scheduled for release on June 18, 2027, with spin-offs in development. jujutsu kaisen, jujutsu kaisen season 3,culling games, gojo satoru, demon slayer infinity castle, chainsaw man, chainsaw man reze arc,aki hayakawa, deku, izuku midoriya, bakugo, katsuki bakugo,my hero academia final season, boku no hero final season, makima, denji, reze, angel devil, chainsaw man manga, csm manga, gun devil arc, control devil, death battle, mahito, shigaraki, itadori, spiderman, spider man, into the spiderverse, miles morales, miguel ohara, miguel o'hara, deku vs miles, beyond the spiderverse, brand new day, kpop demon hunters, soda pop, forsaken, stranger things #milesmorales #deku #dekuvsmiles #myheroacademia #mha #deathbattle
