Me, My Cat & an Out-of-Tune Guitar | A Little Look Behind My Music | Backstage #1

Hey everyone! Allan Ariza here. I decided to show you a little of what goes on behind the music you hear on this channel. It’s a very short video without much technical detail. The main idea is simply to show that I actually exist (unless we’re living inside a simulation and the machines have already taken over the world 😄), and that there’s a real human being behind this music. In the video, I show a project that was still unfinished at the time of recording: "It's Raining," a piece I composed for Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist [https://youtu.be/eauwK-PqmJA]. I thought this would be a good project to share since it's relatively simple and built around just a few instruments. After watching this, you’ll probably understand why I almost never show what happens behind the scenes: my projects are a complete mess, haha. If you know anything about music production, you might be screaming at your screen watching me work. I've always been more of a composer than a producer, so I still have a lot to learn about mixing, mastering, and music production in general. Somehow, though, all that chaos eventually turns into music. Although some of you already know this, I've been creating music for nearly 20 years and uploading it to YouTube across multiple channels for almost a decade. Every piece of music I release is 100% created by me, without the use of generative tools. Most of my compositions begin as a simple idea on the guitar and gradually take shape in my DAW using VST instruments. Maybe I’ll make more videos like this in the future and, who knows, dive a little deeper into the creative process, from the earliest ideas to the different stages of production. For now, this is just a small glimpse of what usually happens behind the music you hear on this channel. Thank you so much for all the support! :) P.S. My secret? An out-of-tune guitar. It makes all the difference. @AllanArizaMusic
