Asteroid Size Comparison on Earth

This is 37 real asteroids side by side at true scale. It starts with a 44-centimetre rock lying on a city promenade and ends with Ceres, 939 km across, stretching from Earth's surface out into space. Along the way you'll meet Bennu, Ryugu, Apophis, Eros, Psyche, Vesta and more, each next to something you already know the size of. Every size shown is the asteroid's mean diameter from NASA JPL's Small-Body Database, or from the latest mission data (DART, JWST, OSIRIS-REx, Hayabusa2).
