Yes; Videogames ARE ART!

A friend once told me about a teacher in university that he had who challenged his students to prove that Videogames were Art. Students would be tasked to present 3 different games to make their case. But every time, they’d fail to impress the professor. The games they would show were good games, but they completely missed the point. What makes Videogames art is not the art that rests within them; it's in the design of the games themselves. Join me in my second video essay where I cover 3 of the best games out right now; 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors, Doki Doki Literature Club and Deltarune, and demonstrate their undeniable artistic merit.
