"Hans My Hedgehog" - Bedtime Story for Adults by Grandma Tosya

Grandma Tosya tells the old German fairy tale of Hans My Hedgehog in cozy 4K — a relaxing bedtime story to fall asleep to. Settle in by the warm fireplace as Grandma Tosya shares this tale of a farmer who asked for a child and received a boy with a hedgehog’s coat and human hands. They keep him. He learns bagpipes from the doorway, then rides a rooster into the bright fields to keep pigs in peace. A lost king asks the way. Hans asks in return for the first thing that meets the king at his own gate. That thing is the king’s daughter. The king hopes the field will forget. Hans does not forget, and he does not grab. She will not let the house stand on a lie. He asks only a room, a peg for the rooster, and music in the evening. Weeks later she sits on the bench while he plays. He tells her there is a coat that can be hung on a peg at night — and a stove that can end the coat without ending the man. What she decides when the stove is ready… that part you will hear by the fire. 🦔 A promise made on a hot road still counts at the gate. ✨ All stories in 4K Ultra HD quality! © 2026 Grandma Tosya's Fairy Tales.
