Only ONE Super Hornet Squadron Fired 421 Weapons — And It Cost Over $43 Million

Only ONE US Navy squadron, the VFA-41 Black Aces flying F/A-18F Super Hornets from the USS Abraham Lincoln, fired 421 missiles and bombs during Operation Epic Fury, the US war with Iran. That is roughly $43 million in weapons from a single squadron. In this video we break down every weapon they launched and what it does: JDAM guided bombs, JSOW glide bombs, SLAM-ER cruise missiles, Sidewinder and AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, and a laser-guided Paveway bomb. We also look at what these numbers say about the pressure on US Navy weapon stockpiles. The weapon counts come from a tally of the squadron's munitions reported by The War Zone. The $43 million figure is an estimate based on public Navy budget data, so treat it as a ballpark. ✅ Subscribe to The Navy Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZCEeYtzzrbaVz4SRH8PZdw?sub_confirmation=1 #USNavy #SuperHornet #BlackAces ------------------------------------------------------------- 📢 Disclaimer: This channel is exclusively intended for entertainment, informative, and educational purposes.
