Description

A freezer is easy to fill and hard to actually eat out of. Mine held gray packages nobody could name, and I was still carrying good food out to the curb most weeks. So here are the 16 freezer tricks I run my own kitchen on now, meat and bread and eggs and vegetables, and the suppers I cook double of. 📚 My Complete Home System, 253 Methods and the 90-Day Plan I Teach: https://thehannahbrooks.com If this is your kind of thing, go ahead and click that subscribe button and turn on the notifications, there is plenty more on the way. DISCLAIMER: For educational purposes only. Follow safe food handling at home. Keep your freezer at zero degrees Fahrenheit or below. Thaw food in the refrigerator, or in a bowl of cold water that you pour off and replace part way through, and never on the counter. Anything thawed in that bowl of water gets cooked the same day, and only food that thawed in the refrigerator and stayed cold goes back in the freezer raw. Never freeze eggs in the shell. Wash your hands, and any board or knife that touched raw meat, in hot soapy water right away, before anything else touches them. If the power has been out and the food has warmed above forty degrees for more than two hours, throw it out instead of guessing, and when anything smells off or looks wrong, out it goes. This is not a substitute for professional food safety or medical advice.
