The Night Hag: She Comes When You Can't Move | Animated Horror

The Night Hag is a cinematic animated horror story inspired by the terrifying folklore of sleep paralysis — waking in the darkness, unable to move, while something watches from beside the bed. Mara Vale thought the strange knocks in her attic bedroom were only the sounds of an old house. Then the paralysis began. Night after night, a gaunt figure appears in the darkness. It moves closer to the bed. It climbs onto the mattress. And Mara can do nothing but watch. But hidden inside the walls of the attic are two strange objects: an ancient Witchglass mirror and a small silver bell marked with a watching eye. They were hidden for a reason. And the Night Hag knows Mara has found them. What begins as a supernatural haunting becomes a desperate confrontation between Mara and a creature connected to an older nightmare — the folklore of the Night Hag, the Old Hag and the terrifying experience historically associated with sleep paralysis. A gothic supernatural horror animation featuring dark folklore, sleep paralysis terror, atmospheric storytelling, cinematic horror and an original supernatural mystery.
