The Most DANGEROUS Journey… Removed from the Bible | Animated Story of Tobias

A dangerous journey. A suffering bride. A demon that has already killed seven husbands. Discover the story of Tobias in this cinematic 3D animated adaptation of the Book of Tobit, a powerful account of faith, prayer, courage, and divine protection. Tobias, also known as Tobiah, is a young Israelite living in exile in Nineveh with his father, Tobit, and his mother, Anna. When his blind father sends him on a journey to recover money entrusted to a relative, Tobias travels with a mysterious companion. He does not know that his guide is the angel Raphael. Along the way, a sudden encounter with a fish becomes an important part of his journey. Following Raphael’s instructions, Tobias keeps the fish’s heart, liver, and gall—items that will later help him face danger and bring healing to his family. His journey leads him to Sarah, a young woman whose life has been filled with grief. The demon Asmodeus has killed her seven husbands before their marriages could be consummated. When Tobias agrees to marry her, he faces the same terrifying threat. With Raphael’s guidance, Tobias burns the fish’s heart and liver, and the demon flees. Tobias and Sarah also turn to God together in prayer as they begin their marriage. But his story does not end with the wedding. Tobias must return to his parents, help restore his father’s sight, and discover the true identity of the companion who has guided him. This animated Bible story brings together Tobias and Sarah, Tobit’s healing, the angel Raphael, and the defeat of Asmodeus in a journey through the ancient biblical world.
