Description

Joe Rogan Experience #2558 - Tyler Engle What are the headless, long-fingered figures kneeling at the bottom of the Book of Caverns, and why can't anyone explain them? It starts with Jamie's side note about "the hill" from The Telepathy Tapes, where nonverbal autistic kids describe meeting in the same place. Ancient-engineering researcher Tyler Engle, author of Cryptex Esoterica, connects it to the spells painted inside pharaohs' burial chambers, which he reads as instructions for navigating the Egyptian afterlife. Jamie calls those spells prompts, and Joe says he just nailed something. Then Tyler has Jamie pull up the Book of Caverns, the underworld imagery painted in the actual royal burial chambers, not the pyramids. Zoom in and the figures don't have heads. Their long appendages look like a second pair of arms, they kneel inside nested stone gateways, and even an AI search can only guess what they are. Tyler admits no one has ever explained them to him and says our understanding of hieroglyphs is far weaker than the textbooks suggest. Finally, he shows another page of the Book of Caverns where he argues a beam of light matches the exact optical refraction of a sphere, a tuning fork for navigating the underworld. Is the Book of Caverns a myth, or a manual? 🔔 Subscribe and hit the notification bell so you never miss a JRE highlight. ⏱ TIMESTAMPS BELOW 0:00 — Jamie's side note: is "the hill" from The Telepathy Tapes in any ancient text? 0:21 — Nonverbal kids who never met all describe the same place 1:01 — Greek dream temples and the Celtic mound builders' hills 1:29 — "This is why drugs are illegal": rulers who cut off the path 2:33 — The spells on pharaohs' burial walls that tell you how to navigate 4:03 — Jamie: "Spells are prompts" and Joe says he just nailed something 5:39 — The solar boat as a wormhole: how the dead king travels 6:55 — The Book of Caverns: "What the hell are those?" 9:59 — Zoom in: they don't have heads 12:56 — Why we still can't read what hieroglyphs actually meant 16:10 — The scene Tyler says matches the optics of a sphere 16:54 — "It's dead on": light as a tuning fork for the underworld
