Description

Harley's badge faith moves faster than the record on any engine this young, and two recalls already name the newest parts. I trace the Milwaukee-Eight family from its 2016 debut through the 107, 114 and 117 cubic inch sizes, then into the 121 with variable valve timing on the 2023 CVO Street Glide. The ECM calibration recall on that CVO and the airbox backplate recall covering roughly 88,039 bikes from 2024 through 2026 both land on current production, not old stock. I weigh that paperwork against the 117 going standard on the Breakout and Low Rider models for 2022 before saying which engine I'd actually pay cash for.
