Description

1 Hour of FORGOTTEN Candies Only 1970s Kids Will Remember! Forgotten 1970s candies, from Pop Rocks and Space Food Sticks to Marathon bars and wax lips, fill an hour-long trip back to the corner store counter, when a sweaty quarter could buy a whole afternoon of choices. Grab a pencil and keep score: one point for every candy you remember. You'll smack Bonomo Turkish Taffy on the kitchen table, stash Charleston Chews behind the ice trays, and wonder all over again about the soda rumor and the spider-egg panic. You'll see orange Reggie bar wrappers rain down at Yankee Stadium, Mallo Cup play money stacked in shoe boxes, Sugar Daddies taking on fillings, and Bazooka Joe comics read aloud for their corny jokes. Some of these treats are still on the shelves. Others left an empty spot on the rack that kids kept checking for years. Stay to the end to see which candy closes out the list, and tell us in the comments what your final score was.
