Sheltering From the Rain in a Tiny Stone Cabin

Hello, my name is Karina. High in the mountains, far from roads, electricity, and phone signal, I found a small stone cabin that became my shelter from an approaching storm. As heavy rain swept across the mountains, I stayed inside, listening to every raindrop falling on the roof window above me. From the warmth of the cabin, I watched dark clouds roll through the valleys while the rain transformed the landscape outside. A crackling wood stove, a hot cup of tea, and the comforting sound of rain made this tiny shelter feel like the safest place in the world. For the next 24 hours, I remained surrounded by wilderness, mountains, and complete solitude, waiting for the storm to pass. Sometimes the greatest luxury isn’t comfort—it’s simply finding warmth and peace in the middle of nature.
