Watch this before Street Fighter Movie - Street Fighter Lore Explained!

Street Fighter movie is out today, October 16, 2026. Before you watch it, here is the lore you need to understand the film. Who is the real villain of Street Fighter? It is not M. Bison and it is not Akuma. It is something that lives inside the hero himself. In this video we cover the Street Fighter story in the order it actually happens, which is different from the order the games came out. We explain the four power systems (Satsui no Hado, Mu no Ken, Psycho Power and Soul Power). We follow Ryu, Ken, Gouken and Akuma from the start. We look at Shadaloo, M. Bison and the Four Kings. And we go through the characters you will see in the movie, including Chun-Li, Guile, Cammy, Dhalsim, Zangief, Blanka, E. Honda, Dan and more. We also cover the Illuminati of Street Fighter 3, the S.I.N. era of Street Fighter 4 and the Street Fighter 6 story. We also cover which part of the Street Fighter timeline the 2026 live-action movie is based on. This is a quick lore guide, not a deep dive.
