Description

📗 Get My Complete Kitchen Guides Here: https://margretmillerkitchen.com/ If you've ever heated a Costco spiral ham the way the package tells you, you know what comes out: curled, hard edges on the outside slices and a middle that's still cold. In this video I show you the whole fix, and it costs you nothing extra. One turn and one cup. The ham goes cut side down in the pan, one cup of apple cider goes in around it, the foil gets crimped tight, and the oven stays at 275 degrees. Not 325, not 350. I also show you the small line under the word ham on the front label, the four USDA names, and why ham and water product should go straight back in the case. The glaze packet goes in the garbage. Mine is four things from the cupboard, and it goes on for the last 12 minutes. My 9 pound ham took about an hour and 50 minutes and came out at 141 degrees, pink right to the edge. Then there's the bone, which most people throw away. With a bag of beans it's six or eight bowls of soup, and that was always the second meal in my father's shop. If you buy one of these hams every Easter or Christmas, this is the way I'd have you do it.
