Description
If the heating bill arrives after the cold is already spent, and you still can't say what last winter actually cost, this is for you. https://tsukamotoledger.com
The Ledger has the light-and-heat envelope my mother kept on its own, the four questions, and the March Question for the months nobody can account for.
421 pages, 86 chapters, every claim sourced. $47 early-bird, 30-day refund.
I grew up in a Japanese house. I've now lived in America longer than I lived in Japan.
Everyone assumes staying warm for less means toughing out a cold house. It doesn't. My mother's house couldn't hold heat, so every winter habit she had puts the warmth on a person, or in the one room with people in it.
Nine of her habits, in her order, each with the plain reason it works and the American version you already have in a drawer or a closet. The ninth is the one that tells you when to stop being cheap.
American central heating and insulation are among the best in the world, and nobody should be cold in a good house to save money. Never heat your home with an oven, a stove, a grill or candles, and if you're older, the National Institute on Aging advises keeping the heat at least 68°F.
This channel explains systems and habits. It isn't financial advice — for your own money decisions, talk to a financial adviser who knows your situation.
If you make it to the end, leave one word in the comments: done. And tell me, what's the one thing that keeps you warm all winter?
For the house those habits live in — that's my main channel, Two Houses: @kentsukamoto
