Description

Diddy owned half of Biggie's publishing when Biggie died. His mother needed 23 years to get all of it back. We traced the deals, the court records, and the money. Want the blueprint behind celebrity wealth? Subscribe for weekly investigative money documentaries: 👉 Celebrity Investments: https://www.youtube.com/@Celebrity-Investments?sub_confirmation=1 In 1999, Sean Combs told Rolling Stone that at least 2 million copies of his album No Way Out sold because of Biggie's death. This documentary follows the paper trail: the publishing split printed on Biggie's own records, the attorneys who fought Combs over those rights, the diamond album released 16 days after the shooting, and Voletta Wallace's long fight to raise the estate's share from 50 to 85 percent and then buy the final 15 percent in 2020. Weeks after her death in 2025, the estate was valued at more than $200 million, and her family ended up in court over it. 📺 More from Celebrity Investments: 🍾 Diddy Made Nearly $1 Billion From Ciroc.
