When Hollywood legends were asked about Zendaya

What do Hollywood’s biggest stars really think about Zendaya? Long before Euphoria, Dune and her historic Emmy victories, Hugh Jackman made an extraordinary prediction: Zendaya had the potential to become the biggest star of her generation. In this documentary compilation, Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Andrew Garfield, Halle Berry, Denis Villeneuve and other major Hollywood figures reveal what they recognized in Zendaya’s talent, discipline and quiet creative ambition. Andrew Garfield explains why her performance as Rue in Euphoria was one of the most remarkable things he had seen from an actor in recent years. Leonardo DiCaprio reveals his admiration for the HBO series. Halle Berry explains why Zendaya represents genuine progress for Black women in Hollywood. And during a conversation with Steven Spielberg, Dune director Denis Villeneuve reveals why he believes Zendaya may eventually become a filmmaker herself. From her Disney Channel beginnings and The Greatest Showman to Spider-Man, Euphoria, Challengers and Dune: Part Two, these interviews reveal how Zendaya transformed from a young performer into an acclaimed actress, producer and cultural force. In twenty twenty-two, Zendaya became the youngest performer and the first Black actress to win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series twice. But the people who worked beside her had noticed something special years earlier. Featuring authentic celebrity interviews, archival footage, behind-the-scenes stories and verified recollections from the actors and directors who watched Zendaya work.
