The Hidden Reason These Knives Were BANNED!

This knife contains no metal—but that doesn’t make it harmless. Stealth knives made from nonmetallic materials, including reinforced plastics, raised concerns about conventional metal detection and became a specifically prohibited category under UK weapons law. Discover why these unusual knives attracted attention, how their materials differ from ordinary steel blades, and why possessing a qualifying prohibited stealth knife—even at home—can be illegal. The legal definition excludes knives designed for domestic use, food-related purposes or use as toys. Not every plastic or ceramic knife is a prohibited stealth knife, and nonmetallic does not mean invisible to every security screening system.
