This is the story of the Battle of the Coral Sea, one of the most important Pacific battles in World War II. This is the first-ever battle fought exclusively by opposing carrier forces, and now will be told from start to finish by the firsthand accounts of the men who lived it. This is the most in-depth documentary on May 2nd - May 8th of 1942 that has ever been assembled. It covers the raid on Tulagi, the sinking of the Shoho, and the sinking of the USS Neosho, USS Sims - and in part two to follow soon, the attacks on the Zuikaku, Shokaku, Lexington, and Yorktown.
