8 Cheap 3-Ingredient Soups for Seniors Living Alone - No Pot of Leftovers

You have got a soup you used to make, and you have not made it in a long time. It is not because you stopped liking it. It is because of the pot. That big stockpot in the bottom cupboard makes eight bowls. So you think about eating the same soup until Thursday, and you have something else instead. Eight soups today, and every one makes one bowl. Not one bowl plus a container in the icebox. One bowl, eaten, done, in a pan small enough to wash with one hand. Three ingredients each. Four are ready in under ten minutes. And number seven does not use a pan at all. Everything is measured for one person. Two at the table, just double it. Tell me down there what soup your mother made. Not the recipe, just the name of it. I am Denise. Born on the island in nineteen sixty three, four blocks off the seawall. This channel is the old ways, and where the old way has been beaten by something better and cheaper, I will tell you that too. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TAGS -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- soup for one, 3 ingredient soup, cheap soup recipes, seniors living alone, cooking for one, easy soup recipes, single serving soup, small batch soup, senior cooking, egg drop soup, potato soup, bean soup, corn chowder, tomato soup from scratch, soup without leftovers, living alone meals, elderly cooking, budget soup, one bowl soup, quick soup recip
