Description

From Copacabana Palace to a powerboat run beneath Iguazu Falls, this World Class journey blends five-star Rio with rainforest adrenaline. We start in Rio de Janeiro, riding the Sugarloaf cable car past misty vistas and exploring Centro's old-world lanes. Learn how the city came to be called January River, pause for high tea at the 1894 Confitaria Colombo, and feel beach life at Ipanema where locals set class and politics aside. We stop at the Girl from Ipanema cafe, then check in to the storied Copacabana Palace, the 1923 stucco landmark inspired by grand hotels in Nice and Cannes. Inside, the Cipriani restaurant and the buzzing Bar de Copa showcase service that keeps guests and celebrities returning, with fans gathering for stars like Mariah Carey. Then the tempo shifts south to the Brazil-Argentina border. In Iguazu National Park, 66,000 hectares of subtropical forest shelter over 400 bird species and a sweep of 275 waterfalls across 1.6 miles. We strap into 300 horsepower RIBs for a knuckle-biting sprint into the spray for the shower of a lifetime. A helicopter view reveals the vast Devil's Throat plunging over 90 meters. Our base is Hotel das Cataratas, the only hotel inside the park, just 400 feet from the best views. Guests enjoy rare access before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m., when paths fall quiet and the constant roar becomes your soundtrack. Toucans, agoutis and capuchin monkeys roam the gardens, while Parque das Aves offers close encounters with tropical birds. As twilight churrasco fires glow, golden light washes the falls and big water lives up to its name. #IguazuFalls #CopacabanaPalace #RioDeJaneiro #LuxuryTravel #SugarloafMountain #HotelDasCataratas #Wildlife
