The Gang War That Broke Europe's Safest Country | The Foxtrot Network

September 7, 2023. A woman in her sixties is shot through her own kitchen window in Uppsala, Sweden. No criminal record. No connection to crime. Her only mistake: her son is one of the two most wanted men in Sweden — and the order came from thousands of kilometres away. This is the story of how one of the safest countries on earth became the stage for Europe's bloodiest gang war. A boy who started out selling ice cream in Uppsala and built Sweden's biggest criminal network. A justice system built on compassion, turned into a weapon. Children taking violent contracts from adverts on social media. And a war that ended with an intelligence service — because according to documents published by Swedish media and later confirmed by US sanctions, the man known as the Kurdish Fox now operates under the protection of Iran. 🌐 About Endless Night Files: We are the official English-language sister channel to the original documentary creator "Sonsuz Gece".
