They Saw an Unwanted Dog. I Saw a Life Worth Saving

This dog rescue started when a tiny puppy kept returning to my shop. Everyone called him an unadoptable mutt, but the real reason he kept waiting outside surprised me. Every time I took my resident dog out for a walk, this stray puppy would watch us from afar. Even after we went upstairs to my apartment above the store, he stayed outside, patiently waiting. While I made sure to feed him, it quickly became clear that food wasn't the only thing he was looking for he desperately wanted a friend and a companion to play with. Once I realized why he kept coming back, I immediately brought him to the animal hospital for a full vet checkup and vaccinations. The vet estimated he was only four weeks old! After his visit, I brought him home for an official puppy adoption introduction. The moment he met my dog, they became instant best friends and started playing right away. The little mutt that everyone called "unwanted" became an irreplaceable member of our family.
