The Rise and Fall of Krakoa | The Full X-Men Story To Sleep To

For five years, the X-Men had a country of their own. Tonight's story is the complete history of Krakoa, the living island that became a mutant nation. We follow it from its first appearance as a monster in 1975, through the founding of the nation in House of X and Powers of X, to its fall and final farewell in 2024. Along the way we meet Moira MacTaggert and her ten lives, the Quiet Council of heroes and villains, the Five who brought the dead back to life, the lost land of Arakko and the mutant world of Mars, and the enemies who waited patiently for the nation to fail: Orchis, Nimrod, Mister Sinister, and the thing that stood behind them all. This is a slow, calm, long-form narration, written to be listened to with your eyes closed. There is no need to follow every detail. The story returns to its main thread often, so you can drift off and pick it up again whenever you like. Everything here follows the main Marvel comics continuity. Alternate timelines and erased futures are clearly identified in the narration. Get comfortable, lower the lights, and rest well. #xmen #marvel #krakoa #sleep #relax
