Who Were the Amalekites? The Only Nation God Refused to Spare

Who were the Amalekites? Why were they the only nation in the Bible against whom God declared perpetual war? And what made them different from every other enemy of Israel? In this full biblical documentary, we explore the complete history of the Amalekites—from their origins through Esau and Amalek, to their first attack on Israel in the wilderness, their repeated appearances throughout the Old Testament, King Saul's fateful failure, David's encounters with Amalekite raiders, and the shocking connection between Haman the Agagite and the Book of Esther. This story spans centuries of biblical history and confronts one of the most difficult questions in Scripture: Why did God command the destruction of the Amalekites? Discover the historical, spiritual, and theological significance of a nation that became a symbol of persistent rebellion against God and hostility toward His covenant people.
