Description
When does a boy become a man? Not when he turns eighteen. The law gives him a vote and a signature. It does not give him a spine.
For most of human history, this question had an answer. There was a day. A rite. A moment the whole community marked: before this, a boy; after this, a man. We have lost that day. In this video, we ask the greats when it actually happens: Rome and the toga of manhood, Homer's Telemachus, Aristotle, Epictetus, King David and Solomon. And at the end, the story of one man who found out.
