Lamont Roach Vs. Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz | 4K - FULL HIGHLIGHTS #boxing #sports

🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION: Twice this year, Roach went toe-to-toe with elite opposition in grueling 12-round battles, only to walk away without a win. Despite fighting through brutal exchanges and delivering performances he believed were good enough to prevail, the judges once again left him empty-handed. Roach (25-1-3, 10 KOs) collided with Mexican pressure fighter Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (28-3-2, 18 KOs) in a punishing showdown for the WBC interim super lightweight title at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. Neither man backed down, but the final verdict sparked another wave of debate. One judge scored the fight 115-111 for Cruz, while the other two turned in identical 113-113 cards, resulting in a majority draw. The outcome marked Roach’s second consecutive majority draw of 2025, adding another controversial chapter to his year. Back in March, the former WBA super featherweight champion battled Gervonta “Tank” Davis in New York, producing another fiercely disputed 12-round encounter. The fight became infamous when Davis took a knee without the sequence being ruled a knockdown, triggering widespread criticism and leaving fans arguing over the officiating. Roach made his frustration unmistakably clear after the Cruz fight, insisting he had done enough to secure the victory. “All I’m asking for is a fair shot,” Roach said afterward. “I felt like I edged it. A close win, but a win. This is some bulls***. I truly believe I won that fight.” Meanwhile, Cruz brought his own experience against boxing’s elite into the ring. The relentless Mexican brawler previously challenged Davis for the WBA lightweight championship in December 2021, pushing the reigning champion through a fierce, physically demanding battle before losing by unanimous decision. Against Roach, Cruz once again found himself in a hard-fought contest—but this time, the result ended without either fighter getting his hand raised.
