Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man SUCKS

I recently read one of the most popular Spider-Man comic runs EVER! Todd Mcfarlane is one of the creators that is synonymous with Spider-Man but it's mainly due to his art work. In the late 80s Mcfarlane changed spider-man forever as his over the top stylized approach to the character is what fans craved after its debut. Mcfarlane would get so popular that eventually MARVEL gave him a spider-man comic all to himself. So his first writing credit would be for the webhead and the (adjective-less) 'Spider-Man' comic was one of the highest selling series and issue 1 in particular is currently the highest selling Spider-Man comic! But was the story good? I don't think so in the slightest. So join me as I go over why I dislike it and why Todd mcfarlane's Spider-Man SUCKS!
