Description
Some songs don't remind you of the past. They take you back.
This is 1 Hour of "A Whiter Shade of Pale" - a weeping blues guitar journey, made for everyone who told us the original was over far too soon.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHY WE MADE THIS
When we first shared our blues guitar version of this song, we didn't expect so many of you to write back.
You told us it brought tears to your eyes the moment the guitar began to weep. You told us about the people it brought back - a parent, a first love, a friend, a house, a summer - and about the years you thought you had already let go.
And almost all of you said the same thing: it ended too soon.
We felt it too. While making it, we played it hundreds of times, late into the night, and it was never enough. Every time that melody rose, it held our hearts a little tighter.
"And so it was that later…" - as Keith Reid wrote nearly sixty years ago — we found ourselves still pressing play, still not ready to let it end. So we decided not to.
This is our first extended journey: one full hour, made slowly and with care. It is not a loop. It moves through quiet clean passages, long sustained notes and solos that rise and fall, so you can listen, breathe, and stay with your memories as long as you need.
Play it late at night. Play it on a long drive, or when the house is quiet. Play it for someone you miss.
We hope it stays with you the way it stayed with us.

ABOUT THE SONG
"A Whiter Shade of Pale" was released by Procol Harum in 1967 and became one of the most beloved songs of its era. Its melody, carried on the original by Matthew Fisher's unforgettable Hammond organ, has drifted across generations ever since.
Our version keeps that melody and gives it a different voice: a lead electric guitar that sings, bends and weeps over a slow, dry blues rock groove, with no vocals, so the guitar can say what words cannot.
