The Perfect Family Fishing Getaway (Tailwaters Lodge)

Tailwaters Lodge on the South Holston River is known for incredible trout fishing, but it’s also a beautiful place for a family getaway. In this video, I brought my family along to experience the lodge from a different perspective—spending time together, exploring the property, enjoying the outdoors, and of course fitting in a little fishing along the way. Located near Bristol, Tennessee, Tailwaters Lodge offers comfortable cabins, beautiful mountain scenery, private access to the South Holston River, nearby hiking opportunities, and plenty of room to slow down and enjoy East Tennessee with the whole family. Whether you’re planning a dedicated fishing trip, a weekend with the kids, or simply looking for a peaceful place to get away, it’s a great home base for experiencing the area.
