Why Dave Grohl Is A Drumming Genius

Not many musicians can say they were the backbone of not one, but TWO of the biggest bands of all time. Between Nirvana and the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl is one of the most accomplished drummers of all time, yet he's so much MORE than just a great drummer. He's the bridge between punk's rage and pop's joy - a drummer who turned "hit stuff hard" into high art. Dave is a drummer who didn't limit himself to his expression behind the kit. He's an artist who has constantly reinvented himself. And that's why people forget that when you strip it all down to Dave's first love - simply pounding away at a drum kit - he's one of the greatest drummers of all time.
