I’ve Never Seen an Audi This Dirty… Until I Saw the Heart on the Hood

Today brought two completely different cleaning challenges into the shop. First came a black Audi A6 covered in thick mud after an off-road trip. But there was one detail that immediately caught my attention: a perfectly shaped dark mud heart on the hood. The owner told me he had taken his partner off-roading, so somehow the dirty adventure left behind a surprisingly romantic souvenir. Then came a white Tesla that had just returned from a grassland road trip. Instead of heavy mud, the entire front end was covered in stubborn bug splatter and smashed insect remains. A normal pre-wash solution wasn’t strong enough to remove it, so we had to use a specialized acid-based cleaner and carefully work the residue off the paint. Two cars, two completely different types of dirt, and two very satisfying transformations. The Audi was messy and funny. The Tesla was much more challenging than it looked.
