Description
Eleven days after their wedding, Laura tells Graham she needs to see her ex-husband. What Graham doesn’t know yet is that she had already learned something about her first marriage nine days before saying “I do” — and chose not to tell him.
This original fictional story was written specifically for Elfix Tales around one question: what happens when people decide which truths someone else is “ready” to know?
As Graham looks for answers, every new discovery changes the meaning of something that came before. Elliot is not quite the man Laura believed he was. Monica’s role in the old divorce turns out to be more complicated than anyone knew. And Sophie begins comparing the family story she grew up with against what actually happened.
A hidden message, an undelivered letter, an old email and one unexpected spreadsheet gradually reveal a conflict with no simple guilty person and no simple version of the truth.
The characters in this episode were written to change as new information appears — until Graham has to decide what honesty should have looked like before he was asked to make the biggest decision of his life.
