Description
Greg's fiancée hid a breakup note in his birthday gift—then secretly paid to reserve a new wedding date.
Holly told Greg she'd found a life that suited her better. But while he was dealing with their broken engagement, she was giving her father, the other man, and their wedding coordinator different versions of what had happened. What else had she been planning without him?
This original fictional story was developed specifically for Elfix Tales. I built this episode around two objects: a note hidden inside a birthday present and an old folding ruler that belonged to Greg's father. One begins the conflict. The other takes on a very different meaning by the end.
Through Greg's decisions, Martin's questions, and Erin's difficult choices, this relationship drama explores what happens when several people act on conflicting versions of the truth. Greg must decide which claims to challenge, which relationships to preserve, and what closure means when the wedding is no longer happening.
No advice. No moralizing. Just an original journey from betrayal to inner justice, with an ending that leaves room for your own interpretation.
