In this video, we will assert the following proposition or claim: The Masses Demand To Be Lied To. And, to back up our assertion, we will utilize elements from Elite Theory—specifically the work of Robert Michels and his prescient and highly predictive 1911 book, Political Parties: A Sociological Study of the Oligarchical Tendencies of Modern Democracy. It was in this book that Robert Michels derived what could be called the 3rd law of Elite Theory: The Iron Law of Oligarchy. Put simply, the Iron Law of Oligarchy asserts that any organization, especially as it increases in size, scope, complexity, and influence, will, unavoidably, be hierarchical and thus oligarchical in nature. In other words, it will be ruled by an oligarchy. Further, over the course of the video, we will explore the next possible variant of the system: the AI Nomocracy. A system of governance that is composed of multiple, compartmentalized silos, which have their own local Political Formula or Truth Regime--in other words, a pluralistic system where it is no longer necessary, on the local level, for all of society live under one particular Political Formula or Truth Regime.
