I Need You Close to Me (1985) — Right Where You Belong | Dreamwave • Synthwave • Retrowave

Dreamwave, synthwave & retrowave — a lost 80s FM radio hit from an alternate timeline. 🌴 Night Drive Records — synthetic nights, analog dreams. Vintage hardware tones (LinnDrum, TR-909, Juno-106, DX7) built for rain-soaked streets, glowing city lights, and the unforgettable sound of 1985 FM radio. It’s 1985, and every street, every passing headlight, and every lonely heartbeat keeps leading you back to the one person who still feels like home. “I Need You Close to Me” blends dreamwave, synthwave, retrowave, and authentic mid-1980s production into a forgotten FM radio anthem from an alternate timeline. Inspired by the golden age of analog studios, emotional synth-pop ballads, and timeless blue-eyed soul, it’s a heartfelt plea to hold on to love before one more night slips away forever. Created with modern creative tools and inspired by the timeless sound of the 1980s. New tracks uploaded regularly. Subscribe and ride along. #dreamwave #synthwave #retrowave #80smusic #nightdrive
